This Integrated SEL program engages students, faculty, and parents at Consolidated School with simple, practical applications derived from Neuroscience, Positive Psychology, and Embodied Mindfulness practices. Benefits include mental focus, self-regulation, social/communicative competence, optimal performance, sense of belonging and wellbeing, and joy.
Brief and effective techniques and strategies are introduced and practiced. The techniques are equally useful in classrooms, board rooms, and around the family dinner table.
By integrating and sharing the lessons with parents, faculty, administration, and students alike, everyone gets on the "same page" and, using a common vocabulary, can reinforce the material in and outside of the school setting.
