Aikido in the Schools and the Confluence Institute return for the 5th year to Cristo Rey-Dallas High School to deliver an intensive Social and Emotional Learning module. The module is provided for all incoming students and material is derived from Aikido, Tai Chi, Qi Qong, and Positive Psychology.

Students learn and practice skills to build awareness and control of body language, active listening, gratitude, grit, stress management, deliberate practice, memory-recall techniques and resilience.

In order to create a common language across the school culture, workshops also include sessions with the full faculty, staff, and parents of all students.
